Types OF Hospice Care
Home Hospice Care
The most common type, where hospice services are provided in the patient’s home, allowing them to stay with family and loved ones. Hospice teams typically visit the home regularly to offer medical, emotional, and spiritual support.
Inpatient Hospice Care
We provide hospice services for patients who need more intensive care or pain management. This level of care can be delivered in a hospital, a dedicated hospice inpatient unit, or a nursing facility that partners with our hospice program.
Assisted Living Facilities
If the patient resides in a long-term care facility, hospice care can be provided in partnership with the facility’s staff to meet the patient’s medical and emotional needs.
Respite Hospice Care
This type offers short-term, inpatient care to provide family caregivers with a break. It allows the family to rest or take care of other responsibilities while knowing their loved one is in good hands.
